VAUGHAN’S 20 MINUTE MAKEOVER
Every year in April, in honour of Earth day, Vaughan schools, businesses, residents, and community groups come together to take part in Vaughan’s 20-Minute Makeover community litter clean-up. This year marks the 8th year in which Watters has participated in the City of Vaughan’s ‘20 Minute Makeover’.
In order to celebrate and promote Earth Day, we team up with the City of Vaughan yearly to assist in cleaning our community. We were able to fill 12 bags of garbage between the 9 employees who participated in the 20 minute clean-up. An additional 7 bags of garbage was collected one week after our initial clean up by 7 employees who volunteered 20 minutes of their time.

In addition to participating in Vaughan’s 20 Minute Makeover, Watters hosted a lunchtime Earth Day trivia game for our staff to raise awareness.
