OUR HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST
On October 31st, to keep with the Halloween festivities, Watters hosted its annual costume contest. The winner of the best-costume by a unanimous vote was Watters newest employee, Brooke Wallace, who was dressed as a salmon sushi sashimi! Brooke’s costume was not only creative but won its way with the staff given that so many of us love sushi! Brooke was awarded with a Tim Hortons gift card. Second place prize went to the Star Wars storm trooper Tom Alston! He won a bottle of jelly beans which he brought home to share with his children.
Congrats Tom and Brooke!!
THE SHOE BOX PROJECT
Watters also hosted a soup day for all of its team members. Each individual made a $5 donation towards our annual “Shoe Box Project” for a bowl of soup and a roll. The Shoe Box project provides women in shelters with a gift at Christmas; the types of items placed in these boxes are shampoos, conditioners, hair brushes and/or accessories, makeup, gloves, hats etc.
